Meet Jared Yant

I was born and raised on Lake Norman, the largest man-made lake in North Carolina just north of Charlotte, and spent the first 20 years of my life on and around the water. From tubing, wakeboarding, and wakesurfing to long summer days exploring coves with family, the lake has always been central to who I am. Those experiences instilled not only a love for boating, but a deep appreciation for the lifestyle and memories that come with it.

When COVID hit, I made the decision to pause my studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and pursue entrepreneurship, launching a mobile detailing company that I owned and operated for five years. During that time, I worked extensively with boats on Lake Norman, detailing everything from runabouts to luxury vessels. This gave me hands-on exposure to a wide range of hulls, engines, layouts, and ownership needs. Running my own business also sharpened my skills in communication, negotiation, and delivering a smooth, transparent client experience.

My lifelong connection to the water, combined with my operational and service background, naturally led me to join Off The Hook Yachts. I’m passionate about helping buyers and sellers navigate the boating market with confidence. Making the process simple, fair, and enjoyable while ensuring every client feels informed and supported from start to finish.
