Meet Alex Angell

Adopted at a young age and raised in Farmington, Connecticut, I developed a strong sense of discipline, adaptability, and work ethics early in life. Those values were reinforced through years of competitive rowing, where focus, consistency, and performance under pressure became second nature — principles that continue to shape how I serve my clients today.

After relocating to Florida’s Gulf Coast, I immersed myself in the yachting industry, beginning as a dockhand in Sarasota. Working closely with yacht owners and captains provided firsthand insight into vessel operations, ownership responsibilities, and the level of service discerning clients expect. That foundation allows me to guide clients with a practical, real-world understanding of both the buying process and the ownership experience.

Today, I represent Off The Hook Yachts, where I specialize in helping clients identify and acquire vessels that align with their lifestyle, preferences, and long-term objectives. Whether that means entering the market for the first time, upgrading to a larger yacht, or positioning a vessel for sale, I take a consultative approach — listening carefully, providing market insight, and ensuring each decision is made with clarity and confidence.

For sellers, I develop targeted strategies to maximize exposure and value, combining thoughtful positioning with an understanding of current market dynamics. For buyers, I offer a seamless, concierge-level experience — managing each step from initial search and sea trial through negotiation, survey, and closing with precision and transparency.

I am currently pursuing a Business Management degree to further strengthen my ability to guide clients through complex transactions and deliver well-informed, strategic advice.

My commitment is simple: to build long-term relationships grounded in trust, discretion, and results — so clients can focus on enjoying their time on the water.

Outside of yachting, I value building meaningful connections with clients both on and off the water, often engaging through golf and community events along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
