Albemarle 36 Flybridge Convertible – Laurel Point Edition

The Albemarle 36 Laurel Point Edition is exceptionally easy to maneuver due to propeller pockets in the hull. They direct prop thrust onto the rudders which creates a low shaft angle, making it easier when backing down and increases overall efficiency. Also due to the recessed propellers, the Laurel Point drafts only 2’ 9”, unbelievable for a boat her size, which is great if you like to explore “skinnier” waters in places like the Bahamas. This sportfisher’s hull is virtually indestructible – made of solid fiberglass with a vinylester barrier to prevent osmotic blistering. Multi-directional biaxial and tri axial fiberglass fabrics and sophisticated resins are sandwiched with high density foam cores in hull sides and decks. The unique one piece cabin inner liner is integrally bonded into the hull, resulting in unparalleled strength and rigidity.

The Laurel Point’s generous 114 square foot cockpit and spacious flybridge result in outstanding utility, making this vessel a serious fishing machine, all while cruising in comfort. The engine boxes, located under the flybridge overhang, serve as comfortable seating protected from the sun or rain. Accommodations

She sleeps six due to a dinette in the salon which easily converts to a double berth. The lounge seat to starboard also converts into bunk style berths. The Master Stateroom features a double island berth centerline with 3 drawers beneath. The top lifts up on gas shocks for storage. Cedar lined hanging lockers on port and starboard sides.
