Meet Blake Phillips

I entered the boating industry with one simple belief: recreational boating enhances lives.

Growing up in Massachusetts, my weekends were spent on the water with family, exploring Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and Newport. That early passion led me to a career dedicated to helping others experience the same joy.

After graduating from Suffolk University in Boston in 2008, I joined White River Marine Group. Over the next nine years, I served in multiple leadership roles—including General Manager of their Boating Center in Massachusetts—while also opening new locations along the East Coast, shaping national marketing strategies, and contributing to product development for Mako and Nitro Boats.

In 2017, I moved to MarineMax, where I spent six years—first as Sales Director, then as General Manager overseeing four of New England’s top-performing dealerships: Boston, Danvers, Newport, and Wakefield, RI. Together, we represented 10 premium brands and became the Number One Volume Boston Whaler Dealer in the world, as well as a consistent Top 5 Azimut Yachts Dealer in the U.S.

In October 2022, I joined Off The Hook Yachts as Chief Operating Officer with a focus on accelerating growth—strengthening our customer relationships, expanding our dealer and supplier networks, enhancing operations, and building a world-class team.
